Innovative Volunteers at United Way's Day of Caring 2024
Last week, Innovative participated in United Way of Washington County's Day of Caring 2024! This was an incredible opportunity for our team to get out and help serve the community. Here are some highlights!
Our team was tasked with putting together personal care kits. These kits include items like socks, bandages, hand warmers, combs and more. As always, Team Innovative was quick to create and implement a process. Within minutes of unboxing the supplies, we had an efficient assembly line going.
Let's hear from some members of our team about their Day of Caring experience!
Marianne Kreizman, Staff Accountant:
"The Day of Caring was a success! It was fulfilling and rewarding to see our hard work in action. When we dropped off the bags at United Way, the smiles and gratitude we received made my heart full. It was a great end to a rewarding day!"
Maliek Fuller-Williamson, L3 Technician:
“It was great seeing the team work together efficiently on tasks other than computers! As a part of the “quality control team”, we took extra care!”
Justin Strahin, Systems Technician, Professional Services:
"I love helping people and the teamwork involved in the process. I had a lot of fun making necessity kits for people who needed them. We got an awesome Day of Caring shirt in the process."
Thank you to everyone at United Way of Washington County for organizing over 1,100 volunteers and over 100 projects. Our team had an amazing time contributing to this event! Here are some additional photos from our project!
